When a hardware issue occurs with your Apple device while under its warranty, we can help. Start with these handy tips.

Check when your coverage expires

  1. Go to mysupport.apple.com.
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID.
  3. Choose your device. The expiration date is listed along with other details about your coverage.

See what your coverage includes

  1. Go to mysupport.apple.com.
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID.
  3. Choose your device. You can see details about the support that you’re eligible for—including hardware repairs and technical support.

You can also see coverage details in Settings on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Here’s how:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Tap About.
  4. Tap the name of your AppleCare plan. If you don’t see an AppleCare plan, tap Limited Warranty or Coverage Expired for more information.

Check if your device is covered by an AppleCare plan or Apple’s Limited Warranty

  1. Go to checkcoverage.apple.com
  2. Enter the serial number of the device.
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions.
