Terms and Conditions for SAM Promotion:

  1. Customer Segment:
    1. This promotion applies only to customers of 50 users (either 50 PC?s or 50 PC using employees) and above.
    2. Excludes travel costs for customers outside of Auckland
  2. Definition of cost Savings (Limited to the first year from the date of SAM engagement):
    1. Reduction in Licensing true up cost in comparison to initial estimate based on one day assessment
    2. Definitive cost reduction in future hardware requirements based of current market pricing
    3. Reduction in IT labour internal costs and outsource requirements based off current market pricing
  3. Access to Relevant Data and People:
    1. Relevant Data from the involved software vendors to be released to Connect NZ in regards to licensing purchasing history and discount structures in place
    2. Asset registers, Audit results and other relevant internal records required in the SAM outline to perform accurate comparatives to be released to Connect NZ
    3. Interviews and planning sessions to be organised at agreed upon times with staff required in the SAM outline (Executive Management, IT Staff and End Users)
  4. True Ups and Licensing Requirements
    1. All licensing purchasing requirements discovered during ?One Day Assessment? or refined requirements discovered through the SAM process must be purchased through Connect NZ within 2 calendar months of the completion of the review at fair market value.
  5. Liability:
    1. Connect NZ assumes an advisory role only in this process and takes no responsibility for compliance between the SAM recipient and any software vendor.
    2. All purchases of services and products are subject to Connect NZ standard terms and conditions as detailed on the Connect NZ credit application. Connect NZ reserves the right to decline a request and to rank requests in order reflecting the availability of its qualified personnel resources.
