Founded in 1979, Connect NZ has grown to become New Zealand’s only solution provider offering Voice, Image, Data and Multimedia Technology. With offices in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch, Connect NZ employs over 175 staff and will generate revenues in excess of $50m for the 2010/2011 year.

Panasonic introduce first G3 fax into NZ

We rebrand as Panasonic Office Automation in Wellington and then in Hamilton

Our first corporate order for multiple PC's

NZ Telecom's market deregulated

We are appointed first Telecom Accredited Dealer in Wellington & Hamilton

Awarded IBM Tier One status

Appointed Lucent Business Partner
1997
Opened office in Auckland as the exclusive channel for Panasonic and Lucent Technologies
1998
Implementation of Australasia's first All Media Call Centre
2001
Purchased Ericsson Business Centre in Auckland
2002
Acquisition of Office Automation in Christchurch, establishes South Island presence
2003
Cablecraft base acquired in Wellington. Implementation of NZ's first multiple site Avaya VoIP network
2004
Awarded Avaya "Business Partner of the Year"
2005
Acquisitions of iByte in Auckland and Ocom in Hamilton. Awarded Telecom's "Dealer of the Year"
2006
ABLE Group folded into Connect NZ (Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch) boosting ICT engineering capabilities
2007
Connect NZ designs and implements a multi-site Contact Centre, using Avaya Media Server & Gateways with full CRM integration. Connect NZ also designs and implements a million dollar multimedia installation for a key NZ company
2009
February 2009 Connect signs a partnership with ShoreTel, a leading global provider of pure IP Unified Communications solutions. This addition strengthens our ability to design, implement and support voice, video & data infrastructure and applications for all NZ businesses.
